Summary
This page provides a licensing terms summary for on-prem deployments of WipRadar. It is not a signed contract. For your final agreement, contact legal@wipradar.com.
License types
- Term license: paid until a date; renewals extend the paid period.
- Perpetual license: paid once; the right to use the software does not expire.
License grant
Subject to payment and compliance with these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software internally for your business.
You may not resell, sublicense, or provide the software as a hosted service to third parties without a separate agreement.
Seats
Licenses are sold with a seat limit (for example, 100 seats). A "seat" generally corresponds to an active user account. Seats include owners, regular users, and service accounts; deleted users do not count toward the limit.
Non-payment and grace period
Term licenses: if the paid period ends and renewal is not paid, we apply a grace period of 7 days. After the grace period, the system may switch to ReadOnly mode (block create/update/delete; allow reads and exports).
Perpetual licenses: there is no non-payment ReadOnly. Optional maintenance/support renewals may affect updates and support, but the deployed software remains usable.
Support and maintenance
Support and update rights are defined in your commercial agreement. For perpetual licenses, maintenance renewals may be required to receive updates or support.
License verification
On-prem deployments use offline license verification. If a license is missing or invalid, the system may restrict functionality.
Telemetry
On-prem telemetry is disabled by default.
If telemetry is enabled by agreement, it is limited to operational and usage signals needed to improve the product, and will never include sensitive content without explicit consent.
